Why Visit an OSHO Meditation Resort?
Reading Osho’s books or listening to his talks can open the door to a new understanding of meditation. But meditation is ultimately an experience, something that needs to be lived rather than merely understood.
Practising meditation alone at home can be helpful, but staying at a meditation resort offers a more immersive experience. It gives you a structured and supportive environment.
At OSHO Himalayas, your day is designed around meditation, mindful living, nourishing food and rest. You also have trained facilitators to guide you through the different techniques.
The resort welcomes people from different walks of life, including:
- Those discovering OSHO meditation for the first time
- Experienced meditation practitioners
- Busy professionals looking for a meaningful break
- Travellers interested in wellness and self-exploration
- Anyone wishing to slow down and reconnect with themselves
You do not need any previous meditation experience to visit.
Why the Himalayas
OSHO Himalayas is located in a beautiful valley surrounded by the Dhauladhar mountain range. Away from the noise and pace of city life, the natural setting creates an atmosphere that supports rest, awareness, and inner exploration.
The resort remains open throughout the year, allowing you to experience the Himalayas across different seasons.
Here, meditation is not limited to a single session. It becomes part of an entire day lived with greater awareness.
What Does a Typical Day Look Like?
A day at OSHO Himalayas may begin at 7 AM with OSHO Dynamic Meditation, an active meditation technique designed for the modern mind and body.
After the morning session, you can enjoy a healthy breakfast before continuing with the day’s programme.
Depending on the course and schedule, your day may include:
- OSHO Dynamic Meditation
- OSHO Nadabrahma Meditation
- OSHO talks
- OSHO Kundalini Meditation
- OSHO Evening Meeting
- Guided meditation sessions
- Special evening activities
The exact programme may vary depending on the meditation course and dates you select.
More Than a Meditation Retreat
Meditation lies at the heart of the experience, but your stay can include much more.
OSHO Himalayas brings meditation, wellness, relaxation and nature together in one place. During your free time, you may explore a range of facilities and experiences, including:
- Healing sessions
- OSHO Zen Tarot sessions
- Massages and spa therapies
- Float tank
- Jacuzzi and sauna
- Swimming pool
- Open-air gym
- Library
- Evenings around a bonfire beneath the stars
This gives you the freedom to balance inner work with rest, recreation and quiet personal time.
Can Beginners Attend?
Yes. You can attend OSHO Himalayas even if you have never practised an OSHO meditation before.
Most programmes are suitable for beginners, and trained facilitators explain the steps involved in each technique. You will be guided through the practices, so you are not expected to arrive with prior knowledge or experience.
Experienced meditators are equally welcome and can use the retreat environment to deepen their practice.
